I know that most people do not want to get NO when handling any kind of business. However, I am here to defend the NO. NO can be the best answer.

The NO has been a good friend of mine for a long time. My mother used to tell me NO at least 15x a week before I was 10yrs old. When I was in middle school, teachers told me NO and many of my early crushes told me NO. The first 5 times I applied for a job I got a NO, and once I had a job, built a good record and when I wanted more money, they told me NO.

That NO made me really mad, so I quit and found about 12 more NOes before I had another job. I really liked that job but after 2 years they told me NO, you can’t get a promotion. At that point, I said, “NO, I think there is a better way.” So I started my own business and was ready to take on the world. I worked at it for about 8 months and NO, it was not successful. This NO gave me wisdom because I KNOW what I did wrong.

I zoomed through many years of NO success with my business endeavors. Then suddenly I started getting about 30+ NOes a week but there was also 1 or 2 YESes mixed in there. I was averaging 6.5% YESes out of 130 NOes per month. NO had started creating YES. Perfecto!!!

No one likes NO, and it is understandable to be upset about NO. How you are upset is your choice. My NOes made me mad every time, but it also told me what to do and how to turn the rejection into determination and self-improvement. NO is my motivator to overcome that NO. They might say NO to the Kia Sorento , but if I come back as a Genesis GV80, it might be harder to say NO to that package.

So, how many NOes can you get in a month and still keep going?
My Answer: All of them, until I create a yes.
